
The competition was organised by the Art_Bridges Trust in conjunction with the Grey Lynn Park Festival Trust.
Julia Thorne, an Auckland based professional photographer who works with magazines, the corporate sector, portraiture and florascapes fine-art prints.
Gaelene Boyle, Bds (Hons), an art photographer and secondary school photography teacher. In her work, Gaelene uses traditional black and white and colour processes based on filmic narratives.

The Terms and Conditions of the competition included the following
1) All photographs MUST be taken at the Grey Lynn Park Festival - Saturday 17 Nov 2007. 2) Entrants MUST own copyright in the photograph and photos entered must be your creative interpretation of the festival.
3) Copyright remains with the photographer, however entry is deemed to license the Art_Bridges Trust and the Grey Lynn Park Festival Trust to publish the photograph or arrange publication through third parties in any form or media in promotion of the trusts activities such as the festival, the photography competition and exhibition - without compensation - but with credit where possible.
4) Submitted photos will be judged by a panel of three, consisting of professional photographers and trust member within the youth category (under 18 years of age) and the adult category.
5) The Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6) The winner will be notified.
7) Prizes are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
